In 2002 the new technological activity line “Optoi Electronics” was established, allowing to integrate embedded electronic system into microelectronic applications and thus manufacturing wholly completed components. That was needed for a more functional development of the internal activities and it was also encouraged by the increasing requirements of the market in terms of quality and competence.

In the meantime a new plant was built in Gardolo due to the enlarged personnel and facilities, besides ISO 9001:2000 quality certification was achieved.

In 2007 two new divisions were created, namely Optoi Solar and Optoi Green, following the increasing market requests for sustainable developments and the constant research of new technologies. The start of a few research projects led to the development of concentrator photovoltaic modules and multi parametric probes for environmental monitoring, particularly for water quality control.

The composition was completed in 2009, when the divisions of Mechanics was created for the design and manufacturing of components and precise stamping, and Neuricam was incorporated.
